The L.A. Home Drew Jeremy Renner In Thanks To Its Architectural Charm
Renner was drawn to the bungalow for its unique architectural charm and was captivated by the neighborhood’s tight-knit feel, noting that many residents had lived there since childhood.
“You typically don’t get a lot of neighborly love in Los Angeles,” he said, according to the WSJ. “This was a wonderful little micro-community.”
The Marvel actor poured about $5.5 million into renovating and expanding the home, more than doubling its size while preserving its original Midcentury aesthetic. “I did all that stuff because I was going to stay there,” he said. “It was kind of a forever home.”

“The Pistenbully snow groomer began sliding causing Renner to exit the vehicle without setting the emergency brake,” the report added. “Although the Pistenbully had some mechanical issues, it is believed based on our mechanical inspection that the parking brake would keep the Pistenbully from moving forward.”
