50 Cent has hit back at Hurricane Chris after the “A Bay Bay” rapper criticized his Humor & Harmony festival in Shreveport.
In a video posted on Instagram on Sunday (August 18), Chris, who hails from the Louisiana city, put 50 on blast for allegedly not booking any artists from the state to perform at his inaugural music and comedy festival.
“You threw a motherfucking concert in Louisiana and didn’t book no Louisiana legends and put no bankroll in any Louisiana legends’ pockets but you paid the police half a million dollars. What type of bitch-ass shit is that?” Chris’ fiery rant began.
“N-gga, you ain’t fuckin’ with my city; you taking advantage of my city ’cause shit cheap and shit costs way less than where you from. And y’all stupid, slow muthafuckas so crazy that y’all gon’ let this n-gga come down here and not show no love to Louisiana.”
After listing some of the Louisana rappers he felt deserved to perform at the festival, including Boosie Badazz, Chris continued to tear into the G-Unit mogul for allegedly helping to fund the city’s police department.
“That fucking money could have went to anything to help the muthafucking youth,” he added. “We don’t need more money invested into the police, n-gga. We need more money invested into the community […] Fuck your money, n-gga. We don’t care nothing about it.”
In his lengthy caption, Hurricane Chris also bemoaned 50’s business empire expanding into Shreveport: “The people around @50cent are from New York even the ones who live in Shreveport they are attempting to gate keep a person who could of really made a difference.
“I challenge yu to let me show u our community and the things that the rotten people around yu have hidden we are the fourth worst educated state in America murder happens daily and our youth is lost none of the people around yu know what the city needs not even the fake non profits but thats another story.”
It did not take 50 Cent long to respond to Hurricane Chris, mocking his rap career while reminding him that he did actually book two Louisana natives to perform at his festival: Master P and Fredo Bang. Shreveport’s own Big Fella Zil and Flamefari were also on the bill.
Alongside a video of Queen Latifah‘s character in Juice shutting down an aspiring DJ, 50 wrote on X: “Hurricane Flex boy ya shit is wack, the fuck you think you @FredoBang [face with raised eye emoji] ya shit gets no play in my ride. LOL.”
In a separate post, the “In Da Club” rapper wrote: “Oh no you not gonna play that 1 song you got, Bay Bay just went on stage wit Master P. LOL.”
Fredo Bang also responded to Chris’ rant, commenting: “Who the fuck am I then?”

Hurricane Chris later hit back at 50 Cent, calling him a “culture vulture” who is ignorant about Shreveport, where the rap legend and media mogul is establishing his G-Unit film and TV production facility.
“Fuck you, you big dummy. You just proved my point. You don’t know shit about the city,” he snapped. “Shreveport, the n-gga just said I got one song.
“I got a whole catalog of shit. Me and Boosie got a mixtape, I’ve been dropping music in Shreveport since ’05, I’ve been touring in Louisiana and all these Texas areas since ’05. Dumb-ass n-gga don’t know nothing about our culture!”
He added: “You just a culture vulture-ass n-gga that’s seen some shit for sale and you wanted to come profit.”
