Britney Spears is slamming the culture of “body improvements” as she reveals being sick and tired of having little suggestions made to her by doctors. The 39-year-old Grammy winner is fresh from an eye-popping and topless Instagram update shading unrealistic standards, and it was a very real finish as the singer went skimpy and unfiltered from the backyard of her L.A. mansion.
Posting for her 35.4 million followers, the princess of pop posed wearing only minuscule white denim shorts and multi-layer necklaces, with the shot seeing the blonde shoot down the camera as she protected her modesty with hands over her chest. The bombshell vibe was alive and well, but the “Circus” hit-maker wasn’t just out to show off her body. If anything, the singer seemed out to shut down standards and usher in body positivity.
Gaining over 1.4 million likes for her post, the newly-engaged star told fans: “What is it with consultations for body improvements ???? Is it me or is anybody else offended by these experiences … maybe I’m extremely sensitive … either way I would rather fall off a cliff 
than have a doctor tell me what he thinks is wrong with my body image … lesson learned 
!!!!”

Defending Her Skimpy Photos
Spears, who has seen a legal expert recently suggest her brazen photos could damage her in her conservatorship case, has been making headlines for defending her topless or bikini-clad photos. Earlier this year, the “Toxic” singer sent out shots similar to today’s ones, wearing only bikini bottoms and boots. She told her followers:
“No guys… I didn’t get a boob job in just a week… nor am I pregnant… I have boobs in these pics cause I devoured food!!!! Before I show you more pics of my body… I want you to understand my thoughts on exposing my skin!!!!”
Explaining herself, the mom of two added: “I don’t want anybody to see the big dimple on my ass but I feel like performing made me too self-conscious about my body and that’s not attractive…” “
“I wanted to see myself in a lighter way… naked… like the way I was born and to me looking back at my pictures when I shoot it’s insane the psychology in seeing myself in my purest form gives evidence that pain… hurt… tears… and heavy burdens aren’t who I am,” she concluded.
Britney’s latest shot comes as she makes headlines for once again shading sister Jamie Lynn Spears, set to release memoir “Things I Should Have Said.” Britney was quick to seemingly fire back at her sibling over the digital space, saying she was considering releasing a book and joking about not knowing what to write about. The two have feuded this year, with Britney suggesting her sibling failed to support her over her 13 years of conservatorship.
Thanking fans in late August for their support amid her ongoing legal battles, Britney gushed, writing: “The Free Britney campaign started with all your amazing pink Free Britney shirts 3 years ago!!! There’s a way deeper meaning to the movement than you can ever imagine… my fans have always been so damn amazing and I love you all!!!!”
