On Thursday, the late-night talk show host announced that a new haunted maze experience, “Tonightmares,” is coming to Rockefeller Center in New York City this Halloween season.
Jimmy Fallon’s new haunted experience was designed with the team behind the Halloween Horror Nights experiences at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, so it’s expected to feature hair-raising horror.

New Haunted Experience Will Showcase Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Darkest Nightmares’
Fallon revealed the brand-new haunted maze experience, “Tonightmares,” during the latest episode of “The Tonight Show.” When announcing the new experience, Fallon described it as a “haunted maze” that is “gonna scare the hell out of you.”
“A little backstory: down at Universal Studios in Orlando, they do this thing every year called Halloween Horror Nights,” he began. “They go all out for Halloween, decorations, zombies walking around, crazy haunted hours, it’s awesome. So I was thinking we should do that here…”
“And it’s happening!” he announced. “We’ve been working on this for years.”

The all-new haunted maze will bring you through 10 different rooms as you brave some of Fallon’s “deepest darkest nightmares,” including a cornfield with killer scarecrows, werewolves, aliens, brain-eating zombies, murderous AI robots, and an abandoned gas station.

Team Behind Halloween Horror Nights Worked With Jimmy Fallon On New Haunted Maze
Jimmy Fallon’s latest haunted adventure was crafted by the same team behind Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights.
“Each year, we bring Halloween to life in new and exciting ways across NBCUniversal through Halloween-themed content and experiences,” David O’Connor, president of franchise management & brand strategy, said, per The Hollywood Reporter.
He added, “Whether it’s expressed in our theme parks or through film and television, we’re building on our rich horror legacy and we’re thrilled to support Jimmy Fallon to pair his true fandom of the holiday with the expertise of our company to create this one-of-a-kind experience.”

Per the official website, “Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Tonightmares’ promises an unforgettable night of fright and thrills. Perfect for groups of friends and family seeking a truly unique adventure in New York – this is the ultimate labyrinth of fear you don’t want to miss.”
As you navigate through each intricately designed area, get ready to face a host of menacing characters—flee from a twisted mad scientist, dodge malfunctioning murder bots, confront a terrifying werewolf, and encounter other nightmarish creatures. Each room promises escalating terror, with spine-chilling surprises waiting around every corner.

‘Tonightmares’ Has ‘Everything You Need To Get Supremely Frightened’
The company says that it will bring “the nightmares to life in a fully immersive haunt with terrifying sets, practical effects, and scares behind every corner.”
“Tonightmares has got everything you need to get supremely frightened this Halloween,” Fallon explained in a statement after the experience was announced. “I’m not saying it has killer scarecrows, brain-hungry zombies and an abandoned gas station in the middle of nowhere. After hearing the news, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. Social media users took over Instagram, commenting things such as “This is going to scare the hell out of me” and “Yesssssss I can’t wait!!!”

‘Tonightmares’ Is Coming To NYC
Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Tonightmares’ is located on the Rink Level of Rockefeller Center.
To get there, enter at 630 5th Ave, between 50th and 51st Streets, in Atlas Court off 5th Avenue, right across from St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Head past Ralph’s Coffee Truck, go through the revolving doors behind the Atlas statue, and once in the lobby, take the escalator down one level. Take an immediate right, and you’ll spot the entrance to the experience.
NBCUniversal’s Global Franchise Management team teamed up with Fallon to bring this real-life experience to life.
The new experience will occur on select nights from September 20 through October 31, and tickets go on sale on August 22.
