Mariah Carey’s favorite time of year is almost here, and the Queen of Christmas wants to get you in the holiday spirit with a concert spectacular celebrating the holiday and the 30th anniversary of her Merry Christmas album and her holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
Carey’s Merry Christmas Time tour, presented by Live Nation, kicks off in November with performances in Los Angeles, New York, Baltimore, Houston, Washington, D.C. and more. Tickets went on sale Aug. 9 via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
Luckily for fans, there are multiple ticketing options — fans can still access tickets to Carey’s Christmas tour at Vivid Seats, TicketNetwork, Seat Geek and StubHub in addition to Ticketmaster.
General admission tickets are currently priced at approximately $100-$300 while VIP tickets can cost more than $1,000 depending on the concert location and the dates of the concert. Currently, GA passes are available for less than $100 at Seat Geek, although most of the tickets fall in the $100-$500 range.
Carey announced the tour in a festive Instagram post on Aug. 2. “It’s not time yet, but I have exciting news‼️ Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time, my biggest holiday tour to date, is coming to 20 cities starting November 6, 2024! Tickets go on sale next Friday, Aug 9! 🎄🎙️ (link in bio)…… TIME!!! 🎃🧊🎄 #MariahSZN.”
Carey is all about the holidays. Last year, she released a collection of cozy, family pajamas with The Children’s Place and debuted a Mariah Carey Barbie Doll along with the Merry Christmas One and All tour.
As if she’s not already busy enough, Carey launched her Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in April, and it’s doing so well that she has extended it until 2025.
The Christmas tour launches Nov. 6 at the Yaamava’ Casino in Highland, Calif. Carey will also perform at the Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden. Carey will bring her Christmas Time tour to several other cities including Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore, Nashville and St. Louis.
With the holidays just a few months away, Carey’s 1994 holiday hit, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” is expected to make its seasonal return to the charts. After landing in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2017 and 2018, the holiday single went on to top the Hot 100 for the last five years in a row.
Carey opened up about writing the song in a 2021 interview with Parade.com. “I started writing that on a little DX7 or Casio keyboard that was in this little room in the house that I lived in at the time in Upstate New York lifetimes ago,” she said at the time. “Just writing down everything that I thought about. All the things that reminded me of Christmas that made me feel festive that I wanted other people to feel.”
Besides concert tickets, “lambs” can get T-shirts, hats, hoodies and more gear from Carey’s Amazon Merch shop.
