Just like her father Bobby Amaru (who is the frontman of the rock band Saliva), Veda is venturing into music at a very tender age. The 13-year-old American singer recently released her debut single, “Wannabe Me”. Prior to this, she had been entertaining listeners online alongside her dad, amassing thousands of TikTok fans in the process.
“Wannabe Me” was produced by Judge & Jury, the production outfit formed by Howard Benson and Neil Sanderson. The emotionally charged pop/rock song is about the pressure to fit in. It was released in the company of a lovely music video, which you can see above.
