Another European art competition that strikes my attention is the Luxembourg Art Prize that promotes talented artists who need to establish themselves on the contemporary international scene. The aim is to open to any artist, amateur or professional, with no limits on age, nationality, or residence, in one or more of the following media, drawing, printing, installation, painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, decorative art.
To enter artists have to create a candidate space on the Luxembourg Art Prize website and complete the entry form online via the Luxembourg Art Prize website.
The deadline is 1st of October 2021. The only selection criterion is artistic.
All participants noted by the Museum selection, the committee will receive an official certificate of artistic merit, whether or not they are finalists.
The winners receive a cash prize. The first-place winner will receive €50,000, the second-place winner will receive €20,000, and the third-place winner will receive €10,000. Artists are free to present any works they like.
