HAPPY MONDAY AND HAPPY AUGUST!! This is my birth month and I already have fun plans for my birthday evening, so I’m excited!! Annnnnd… it’s time for the latest books that just went live over the last 24 hours before the Tuesday big list goes live. 😀
Three things:
1.) BIG HUGE STORM coming my way today (I’m writing this on a Sunday – so it’s now yesterday for you guys – LOL!!). It’s been an intensely rainy month (but the best kind of rain… sunny days and pouring rain evenings and nights). But today’s storm was fluctuating between being a tropical storm or a small hurricane, so luckily we’re at tropical storm Debby right now. Hopefully it’s just a lot more rain and wind and no tornadoes!! Please and thank you.
2.) I bought a couple of extra battery back up/power bank chargers for cell phones and iPads and of course… my beloved Kindle. 😉 I’ve done too many of these storms, and been without electricity for days (and twice… for 10 days) at a time, and was beyond bored at night when I couldn’t turn on lights to read print books, and didn’t dare try and read on my phone to not drain the battery. Now… I’m covered. I even got a solar charger, but I have no idea if they actually work well or not. Some say yes, some say no, but the reviews on this one are excellent so I went for it. Sometimes no electricity in Florida but most always PLENTY of sun, so I’ll give it a try soon. But no matter what, my little backups are ready, and one even plugs right into the wall to charge it back up again, without cords. That one is my favorite.
