Another day, another celeb making controversial political statements! Today’s episode of WTF Is Going On stars none other than Zachary Levi.
You might remember him as the lead in the Shazam! movies, but he’s been in a bunch of other stuff like Chuck, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Thor: Ragnarok. He voiced Flynn Rider in Disney’s Tangled and appeared in numerous Broadway musicals.
Well, Zachary attended a Trump rally in Michigan over the weekend to join a conversation with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former US representative Tulsi Gabbard. “I did just wanna just give you a little context about why Shazam is sitting here talking to you about these various things,” he told the crowd. “I grew up in my family that was Christian conservative, that was pretty much the lane that we were in. My parents were Kennedy Democrats that then turned into Reagan Republicans, and they taught me to have a healthy level of distrust for the government and a healthy level of distrust for industry that runs amok.”
He called Kennedy “the real deal” and would likely have voted for him “in a perfect world.” However, Kennedy withdrew his presidential bid last month and threw his support behind Trump.

“We’re here to make sure that we are going to take back this country, we are going to make it great again, we are going to make it healthy again,” Zachary continued. “I do believe, that of the two choices that we have — and we only have two — Donald Trump, President Trump is the man that can get us there. And he’s gonna get us there because he’s gonna have the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight that exists in Robert Kennedy Jr. and former representative Tulsi Gabbard.”
Naturally, the internet made jokes about all this. Here are the funniest ones:
