Jay Martel’s new play Parents in Chains is giving two public developmental workshop performances at the Whitley Theatre in Los Angeles, California, September 30 and October 1. Andy Fickman is directing.
A starry cast has been assembled for the affair, including Jason Alexander, Kristen Bell, Yvette Nicole Brown, Tom Everett Scott, Jackie Tohn, and Gary Anthony Williams.
The work follows six Los Angeles parents texting their 17-year-old daughters as they drive home from San Francisco with a hurricane on their heels. J. Todd Harris is producing.
