Why We Want to Join Apple News

The user interface for Arts Tribune’s website was created in 2018 and developed further in 2019. It officially launched with new editorial in 2020. The idea for the web site has been around since 2008. The company has experienced using other domains, but we feel that using Arts Tribune will provide the best visibility for our articles. Now that we feel that we have the right platform for producing articles, we are looking for the right platform to share our content.

We are currently a team of six members, four writers, one writer/editor and a director. Everyone has done an excellent job creating stories to share for the search engines and social media. While it’s important to make sure that articles are present on Bing, Yahoo and Google, as well as Facebook and the other social media platforms, we feel that our content is suited to provide a personalized experience. We view Apple News as a great software where we can share personalized arts and entertainment content as well as the local, state, national and international stories of interest.

Even though Apple has been successful with manufacturing and distributing its latest hardware, the company also has more exclusive content than its Android counterparts. While we want our stories to show up on all types of devices, we are interested in Apple News because we feel the types of content we create would fit in with Apple’s editorial. Our writers have the ability to deliver news, as well as arts criticism, which we feel is a lost art and has the potential to play a significant role in digital media. Since arts criticism is our primary focus, our articles are completely original and would fit in with the Apple News editorial.

Most digital media companies focus exclusively on search engine optimization and posting on social media. We understand the importance of doing those actions; however, we are also looking for a niche, targeted platform that we can develop for like Apple News where we can expand our audience to internet users in a unique way, by creating and producing exclusive experiences for the iPhone and the rest of Apple’s devices.

Arts Tribune is currently under review by the Apple News team. We are excited that you are reviewing the content in order to see if it will fit into Apple News. I hope you like what you read and keep an open mind about how we can provide a unique experience to readers. Some other platforms also provide criticism, but we are taking it in a new direction. We are taking arts criticism and publishing it alongside news stories of interest, this creates a blog that feels contemporary but can provide new information on pieces of art, music, film, tv, theatre and all other genres and mediums of arts from previous generations, to today’s creations and tomorrow’s innovations.
