With the recent successes of ‘Aladdin’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Maleficent’, Disney is gearing up to release several live-action versions of their animated films.
According to multiple sources, the live-action list includes the following films: ‘Cruella (101 Dalmatians)’, ‘Peter Pan’, ‘Tink’, ‘The Sword in the Stone’, Pinocchio’, ‘Rose Red (Snow White)’, ‘Prince Charming (Cinderella)”. Each film’s release date is to be announced and many of them are in the early stages of production.
The next release is ‘Mulan’ on March 27,2020.
Disney’s recent box office records from 2019 has put the company in an excellent position to expand content that will eventually make it to Disney Plus, its streaming service.
Disney Plus currently has more than 10 million subscribers in which the company was able to obtain in just a few months.
