Where’s Beth is the folk-pop project of songwriter Sarabeth Weszely, who recently released her debut album, Bone Broth, last Friday. The record was written in the months surrounding the wedding of Sarabeth and her collaborator Jesse Thorson.
One of the standouts from the record is the haunted single “I Am No Conqueror”, a track set to “the scene of a NYC bodega fire beneath a lover’s apartment.” The track blends elements of ethereal folk and indie rock with traces of alt country in the vein of Cassandra Jenkins and Julia Jacklin.
