RC deWinter creates art in a variety of categories, ranging from digital photography to poetry. The artist constructs pieces for interior design in addition to works on canvas and film. In the photograph, L’élégance du Fruits Faux,deWinter uses digital techniques to draw emphasis to the contents of still art through the use of shading and texture to depict crystallization. Poems entitled Imprecation and WomanRoots were recently published in Pink Panther Magazine; the artist’s writing appears in numerous outlets in print and digital form including The New York Times and UNO A Poetry Anthology. Several of her art pieces were licensed by ABC as set decoration for soap opera Desperate Housewives; others appear in theatres, museums and galleries.
