The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the biggest arts festival in the world, with over 3,700 shows. This year, Playbill is in town for the festival, and we’re taking you with us. Follow along as we cover every single aspect of the Fringe, aka our real-life Brigadoon!

It’s the little things you do together, and that includes performing on stage in a musical. Real-life couple Frances Ruffelle and Norman Bowman are currently sharing stories from their relationship on stage at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe—with the help of some show tunes and Scottish ditties.

See snippets from their show, The Scot and the Showgirl, in the exclusive video above, captured by Playbill’s Ethan Treiman. It includes them dueting on “The Little Things You Do Together” and “Something Good” and Ruffelle singing “On My Own”—the song from Les Miz that made her a star.
