Travis Scott’s Charges Reduced Over Drunken Yacht Incident

Travis Scott has gotten some charges dropped from his June arrest for disorderly intoxication and trespassing in Miami, but he hasn’t gotten off scot-free just yet.

Per TMZ, prosecutors dropped the disorderly intoxication charge against Scott during a hearing on Thursday (August 8).

However, the state of Florida has decided to move forward with a misdemeanor trespassing charge. La Flame is set to go to trial for the matter on September 10.

According to Florida-based law firm Musca Law, the charge comes with up to 60 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $500. And if a person is present in the structure where the trespass occurs, it’s considered a first degree misdemeanor which can carry up to one year in jail.

As previously reported, Travis Scott was arrested at 1:17 a.m. on June 20 for causing a “disturbance” on a charter boat at the Miami Beach Marina.

“He was drunk, causing a disturbance, and asked to leave multiple times,” police officers said.

Scott was released on a $650 bond, working out as $500 for the trespass charge and $150 for disorderly intoxication.

Officers told WSVN 7 News that he was arrested after refusing to leave the boat.

Scott was apparently getting off the boat when the owner requested him to leave; police said he then “became irate screaming profanities, left and returned to disturb some more.”

His mugshot was later shared by the Miami Dade Corrections facility.

Shortly after news about the arrest made its way online, Travis took to X to seemingly react to the incident.

“Lol,” he simply wrote in his post.

In other Travis Scott news, the Utopia rapper was recently spotted with 50 Cent‘s ex-girlfriend, providing more ammo for Rick Ross to troll his longtime rival.

Footage emerged late last month of the Houston native allegedly leaving an event and getting into a car with Fif’s former flame, Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines.

“Travis Scott spotted going to his hotel with Cuban Link, 50 Cent’s ex,” reads the caption over the security footage, which appears to have been recorded in Italy where Travis recently performed.

After Akademiks posted the video on Instagram, Rick Ross wasted no time in taunting the G-Unit boss by commenting: ”The massacre @50cent.”

He further trolled 50 by re-posting the suggestive clip to his Instagram Stories and quoting lyrics from his classic song “Many Men (Wish Death)”: “Many men, many many many many men — @50cent [peeking eyes emoji].”

50 Cent and Jamira Haines, a model and fitness entrepeneur, began dating in 2019 but seemingly broke up earlier this year.
