Travis Scott Admits He’s Scared Of Police In Footage Of Arrest

Travis Scott was seen admitting that he is scared of the police as footage surfaced of him getting arrested for disorderly intoxication and trespassing in Miami in June.

In body cam footage from the arrest, which has been leaked to TMZ, an agitated and apparently intoxicated Scott tells the cops “Y’all scared me,” and criticizes what he sees as an over the top response.

The footage shows Scott continue to argue with the arresting officer by a marina before four cops restrain him and cuff his hands behind his back.

The disorderly intoxication part of the arrest has since been dropped but prosecutors are pushing forward with the trespassing charge which carries of up to 60 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $500. If a person is present in the structure where the trespass occurs, it’s considered a first degree misdemeanor which can carry up to one year in jail.

As previously reported, Travis Scott was arrested at 1:17 a.m. on June 20 for causing a “disturbance” on a charter boat at the Miami Beach Marina.

“He was drunk, causing a disturbance, and asked to leave multiple times,” police officers said. Cops also said he was being belligerent during the arrest, in reference to the arguing that can be seen in the body cam footage.

Scott was released on a $650 bond, working out as $500 for the trespass charge and $150 for disorderly intoxication.

Officers told WSVN 7 News that he was arrested after refusing to leave the boat.

Scott was apparently getting off the boat when the owner requested him to leave; police said he then “became irate screaming profanities, left and returned to disturb some more.” It is not known who the owner of the boat is.

His mugshot was later shared by the Miami Dade Corrections facility.

“Lol,” he simply wrote in his post.
