The St. Lunatics Know the Music Business

I got a little history with St. lunatics and I sold Kyjuan and Ali their first Ford Excursion. I was a car salesman at Kribs Ford City. This was the first big purchase for both of them. When they shot the scene at the Ambassador Me and Crea’s girl’s group opened up Tiorah for Nelly. This was a special time for St. Louis These young guys had been working on this dream for 6 years. And they had a CD that went Diamond. My Nelly contract was cool if they sold so many records everybody got a deal. So they sold a lot. Nelly was the clear star of the group. But Micheal was the star of the Jackson Five and Diana Ross was the star of The Supremes. So when I heard they were beefing Nelly and Ali it kind of broke my heart. Because they did something for St. Louis that never had been done before. Not since JCD and Dawg Pound. So here we go Nelly and the St lunatics beefing is not a good thing at all. But all good things come to an end. The Beatles, The Jackson Five, and the Supremes. It is the nature of the beast. Nelly did all he could do. And everybody gave Ali his proper respect. He birthed and a baby Nelly and The St. Lunatics and it is now gone. Even the great Ike and Tina Turner broke up. So this is the nature of the game. When you’re in this business you gotta do other stuff because the music does not last. Just like sports, the average professonal life of a basketball and foot ball player is 3 years. That is why you gotta be in the league for five years to get a pension.

So like everything else the world is always changing I just hope they don’t do too much cause nelly and St lunatics made a way for everybody else. Even though they did not have anybody come out of their label Derrty ENT. This is a rough business and when you hear these brothers did it right and we need to show them respect when people from St. Louis it because they put us on the map just like all the other St. Louis performers like Miles Davis, Ike, and Tina Turner and Chuck Berry the original St. Louis superstar. And St. Louisan Domino
