Nicolas Cage fans will be blessed in 2021. There are many projects to look forward to from the king of his own creative acting style, ‘Noveau Shamanic.’
The eccentric Nic Cage is making a comeback with a new docuseries on Netflix called, “The History of Swear Words” where he will interview etymology experts, historians and entertainers and dig deep behind the origins of curse words, Shit, Fuck, Damn, Dick, Bitch, Pussy you name it! Guest stars include cognitive scientist Benjamin Bergen, linguist Anne Charity Hudley, and lexicographer Kory Stamper. It premieres on January 5th, just two days before his 57th birthday on January 7th.
Expect him to drop the F-bombs here and there on the show! Nic is known to have ‘freak-outs’ and literally ‘lose his shit’ in films so only ‘the one and only’ ‘national treasure’ Nic Cage can pull this off! Ah, the suspense is killing me how about you? Does it get any better than this? This should be really very interesting! Not that he hasn’t cussed in the movies! He earns the title of “King of Profanity!” He is full of surprises (but never full of shit! lol!) and this piece of news is unexpected! It’s quite obvious he loves to surprise his loyal fans and make them very happy! Docuseries are gaining popularity lately.

Nic stars in two other Netflix series, including the scripted series, “Tiger King” a real-life series about a man named Joe Exotic and his life dealing with tigers. The real one is currently serving time in prison for a murder-for-hire plot on his rival and nemesis Carole Baskin played by Saturday Night Live cast member Kate McKinnon. He is also starring in “Highfire” voicing the main character in a fictional series about an elusive dragon. He also lent his voice to play Grug in “The Croods: A New Age” which is available now in theaters and soon-to-be-released on VOD.
Nic always had a passion for journalism besides acting. He expressed that statement in an interview with his long-time friend Marilyn Manson (yes the rock star who actually wrote and contributed the article he was a rock music journalist) in Interview Magazine. The curse word, ‘Cock’ is featured in that article! This show is a chance to show off his stuff! I think he takes after me! Lol!
