Taylor Swift Releases Re-recording of ‘Love Story’

Taylor Swift

When expressing creativity it is sometimes more difficult to look back than to look forward. Due to Big Machine Records selling Taylor Swift’s music catalog without her permission, she has asserted that she will return to her previous music and re-record every song and album that has been sold without her permission. This appears to be a tall task, but it is a challenge that Swift is seemingly ready for.

The world is still going through the global pandemic; therefore many artists can not go on tour to earn money due to Covid-19 restrictions on assembly and social distancing. If there ever were a time to re-record an album, now would-be a good time to do it. Swift, including many of her fans, feel like she has been treated unfairly with the selling of her music. Even though Swift has every right to be disturbed by the situation, she is turning it into a positive and focusing on giving her fans the gift of music, even if they are songs that have been heard before. She more than made up for this because she released two new albums during Covid-19 that are very good, fans who want to listen to new music should download or stream those two albums.

“Love Story” was a song originally released in 2008. The re-recorded version became available to the public on Thursday night. It was announced to the world on Good Morning America earlier that day. She also revealed that the new version of the song has a softer appeal than the original record. She also released a new lyric video on YouTube to go a long with the song. She revealed that she has completed the re-recording of her album Fearless and that it will be “coming out soon”. Fearless (Taylor’s version) will also feature six new songs. The album will be released on April 9.

“My version of Fearless will have 26 songs on it, because I’ve decided to add songs from the vault, which are songs that almost made the original Fearless album,” she said. “I’ve now gone back and recorded those, so that everybody will be able to hear, not only the songs that made the album, but the songs that almost made it. The full picture.”

“This was the musical era in which so many inside jokes were created between us, so many hugs exchanged and hands touched, so many unbreakable bonds formed,” she wrote. “So before I say anything else, let me just say that it was a real honor to get to be a teenager alongside you, and for those of you I’ve come to know more recently than 2008, I am ecstatic that I’ll get to experience a bit of that feeling with you in the very near future.

Now that I can fully appreciate it in its whimsical, effervescent, chaotic entirety.” Swift is disappointed that she was not given the opportunity to own her masters and that the music was sold without her having any influence. However, she is turning a negative situation into a positive one by expressing herself in a completely new way with the re-recording of albums with new tracks. Her fans on social media have already expressed how excited they are to re-experience her earlier works and hear new music at the time.
