Taylor Swift has a rumored unreleased album from 2016. It is unclear if her new project is that one or something entirely new. The star has been sharing details about it on social media, every week or so giving fans the name of songs on the track listing. While she has not shared any music on social media yet, she may as it gets closer to the release date.
In promoting her upcoming album Midnights, Swift plays a game of “Midnights Mayhem With Me” on social media. The last contest revealed the title of track eleven-“Karma.” Fans now have the name of eight out of 13 tracks: “Maroon,” “Anti-Hero,” “Midnight Rain,” Question..?,” “Vigilante Shit,” “Bejeweled,” “Karma,” and “Mastermind.”
Taylor said she was particularly looking forward to her fans hearing “Anti-Hero.” “It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” she explained in a video on social media. “This song is really a guided tour through all the things I tend to hate about myself, we all have things about ourselves.”
She added, “It’s all of those aspects of the things we dislike and like about ourselves that we come to terms with if we’re going to be this person. I like ‘Anti-Hero’ a lot because I think it’s really honest.”
Midnights will make its debut on Oct. 21. It is Swift’s 10th studio album. Each of them made it to number one on the Billboard 200. If the new album tops the chart, it will be history making.
