Sunny Art is an international art competition hosted by Sunny Art Centre, it has opened the call for applications, submissions from anywhere in the world.
It is the UK’s most prestigious international art competition. Organizers select artists who work with a wide range of media, making the art prize a varied and stimulating global platform to engage with critical contemporary issues. All 2D work such as painting, drawing, projected videos (including moving images and installation). The submissions are including sculptures, ceramics, and mixed media artworks. Installation art (whether made of mixed media or digital) must be assembled on-site at the exhibiting location. In the range, they accept sculpture, painting, drawing, original print, photography, ceramic, mixed media, installation, video art and/or moving image, digital art etc…
Entry fees range from 25 GBP per one artwork. The 1st prize winner will receive 3,000 GBP, 2nd the prize winner will receive 2,000 GBP and 3rd the prize winner will receive 1,000 GBP, and it offers to experience a one-month artist residency in China and the chance to have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Sunny Art Centre, London.
