We went to Detroit after hearing about a mother named Brianna, who was living on the streets of downtown Detroit with her two young children. I met Brianna, listened to her story, and learned how a series of tragic circumstances led her family into survival mode. What started as a simple conversation quickly became something much bigger. After posting Part 1, this community showed up in a way we’ve never seen before — raising over $850,000, making this one of the largest crowdfunding campaigns we’ve ever been a part of.
