SHOCK: Trump Voter LOSING EVERYTHING Because of Trump, Posts THIS!

SHOCK: Trump Voter LOSING EVERYTHING Because of Trump, Posts THIS!

Luke discusses a farmer at risk of losing his farm because of the new administration.

we continue following the folks who

0:02voted for Trump but are sort of

0:05learning what it is that they voted for

0:08now that Trump’s actually doing it and

0:10terrible

0:12examples but a more hopeful ending to

0:15this story because I thought there was a

0:18follow-up video made on a story that

0:20went really viral and the story was

0:22about a

0:23farmer and then a different farmer who

0:26is not a supporter of trump made a video

0:28and and sort of articulate it more than

0:31just F around and find out right that

0:33being the response from a lot of people

0:34and I I understand it but but hey

0:38here’s what the takeaway should should

0:41be from the fact that Trump might be

0:42destroying your life right this should

0:43be the takeaway and it’s not

0:45just I I have something more to to give

0:48you and that’s what this farmer did that

0:50you were seeing on screen a second ago

0:52so before getting to the liberal Farmers

0:54response I’ll show you the individual

0:57who voted for Trump and had his story go

0:59viral about how given a trump

1:02Administration policy he could lose his

1:04farm and he was benefiting from a

1:07program that was a part of the inflation

1:09reduction act a Biden policy and yes you

1:12have the feeling what this is I don’t

1:15want you to lose your farm why are you

1:17doing this and some people would say

1:19yeah get the negative impact but as we

1:22conjure as much sympathy as possible

1:24it’s more so at least please have the

1:27proper takeaway and I hope you don’t Le

1:30your

1:31farm click the Subscribe button if you

1:33appreciate these videos first this then

1:36we’ll get to the response I might lose

1:38my farm because of the government I got

1:40in bed with the government I was

1:41promoting getting in bed with the

1:42government because I thought it was a

1:43good idea

1:46so nrcf so already we’re off to the

1:49wrong start eventually he does

1:50acknowledge that it was the inflation

1:51reduction act but it’s not that you got

1:55in bed with the

1:56government it’s that you got in bed with

2:00a perfectly fine woman okay here’s the

2:04analogy and you’re having a good

2:07time and then for some reason you

2:11say I want no you push that woman out of

2:14the

2:15bed and then you go over to

2:20your your leopard cage and you get a

2:23leopard and you say now I’m bringing

2:25this to bed and you start trying to do

2:26the same things with the leopard that

2:27you were doing with the woman and then

2:29it you that’s the it’s not that you got

2:32in bed with the government it’s that we

2:33put someone else in charge of the

2:35government not that Biden’s a beautiful

2:37woman in this analogy I’m just saying

2:39you get the point yes conservation

2:41planning so they had a program out there

2:43called the equip program and what the

2:45equip program is is it’s cost sharing on

2:48stuff like fencing different seatings uh

2:51water lines Waters Wells and stuff like

2:54that to better conserve farmland for

2:57agricultural use so and with that being

3:00said they called me today and said hey I

3:03know we have this signed contract we’re

3:05reing on it we’re not going to pay out

3:07on it what do you mean you’re not going

3:10to pay out on it so I’ve got all this

3:11stuff bought and whenever I install it

3:13you’re not going to pay out we had this

3:15contract I made business decisions based

3:17on this contract I might lose my farm

3:20because of the government right so that

3:21kind of gives you a quick it was longer

3:23video but he engaged an agreement I

3:27agree with the uplifting of our farmers

3:31and he took advantage of it I’m happy

3:32for him but it was a Biden era policy

3:36that then the Trump Administration is

3:38saying we’re not going to make good on

3:40he then did a follow-up video I need

3:43your help to save my farm and many other

3:45Farms want to give you guys and I just I

3:47just need to say something this is not

3:49relevant for our podcast listeners but I

3:51just went and found the first video of

3:54him doing this followup the Trump

3:56dancing in the corner which was clearly

3:58someone doing a little mockery I think

4:01um is not something that I am that I did

4:04I didn’t do that give you guys an update

4:06on what we figured out with our

4:08contractor nrcs so to give you some

4:09backstory if you haven’t watched the

4:11previous video please go out watch that

4:13previous video I’ve got on there we are

4:15possibly going to lose our farm if nrcs

4:18doesn’t hold up their contract with us

4:20on the equip program so the reason that

4:23they’re not able to hold up the contract

4:25is is our equip program which is cost

4:28sharing on fenes Waters a well and some

4:31seedings was funded by the inflation

4:33reduction act because of the executive

4:35orders there is a pause or a freeze on

4:38the funding through the inflation

4:40reduction act and they’re not able to

4:42pay out on the stuff that we completed

4:44or anything going forward but the issue

4:46I have is is I’ve already paid I’ve

4:48already done a bunch of the work already

4:49paid for the material already paid for

4:51the labor so I’m out all that cost and I

4:53use my farm operating expenses in order

4:56to do those projects because per

4:58contract I knew that I was going to get

5:00C sharing refunds on the stuff once

5:02completed but now that it’s completed

5:04they’re saying that they’re unable to

5:06provide the funds because of the freeze

5:09on the inflation reduction act funds so

5:12I reached out to a couple different uh

5:14senators and Congress people so I

5:16reached out to an Wagner’s office I have

5:17not and he goes on to the actions he’s

5:19trying to take to make this right but

5:22it’s not he’s repres he should do that

5:25to put pressure on particularly

5:27Republicans to put pressure on Trump but

5:29it’s not Congress this is the point and

5:33then I’ll show you the beautiful message

5:36from a different

5:38farmer this is the point of why the

5:42executive branch is not supposed to be

5:44able to

5:46just not implement the policies that

5:49were signed into law and that were

5:51passed by Congress that’s that’s what we

5:56say

5:58say what

6:01uh that’s the problem because then you

6:04have things that are in law being

6:06violated just because a new president

6:08came in town and said I have unilateral

6:11control over law now when that’s not

6:15that’s not how it’s supposed to go the

6:18power of the purse is supposed to be

6:19with Congress the president then signs

6:21off on these laws and then they’re

6:23enforced even if the new president

6:25doesn’t like them in this case that

6:27means he should have his contract

6:31upheld

6:33and it’s heartbreaking people didn’t see

6:35that the only my main

6:37criticism I haven’t watched all of his

6:39content content but from what I’ve seen

6:41so far you got to say the names the

6:44whole the inflation reduction Act and

6:47the the pause on

6:51who

6:53Biden then Trump there’s a there’s a

6:57really important takeaway there all

6:58right but not just F around and find out

7:02as you’ll hear um this gentleman say and

7:05actually throw that down for a second

7:06Jaden let’s get so that we can Will

7:10westerland is the name of the gentleman

7:12you’re going to see responding and my

7:14goodness could you get a better name for

7:17a farmer than and I say this with all

7:20the respect will

7:24Westmorland is that a stage

7:27name also everybody says in the comments

7:29project 2025 didn’t you read that that’s

7:31his platform hey Skylar my name is Will

7:33West Morland and I’m a farmer down in

7:35Southwest Missouri and I just westm

7:40land sorry we’ll talk about I’m not done

7:43with talking about that name that’s

7:44brilliant I’m I love that just wanted to

7:46reach out to you and tell you that I am

7:48not an ffo kind of guy we probably

7:51disagree with each other on everything

7:53political but there’s a very specific

7:55reason why people are getting upset with

7:57you and I wanted to explain that to you

7:59if you’d be willing to listen to an

8:01older guy kind of walk you through the

8:02process now I’m not an ffo guy because I

8:06know what’s going to happen to poor

8:09people the elderly children single

8:12moms and over 250 million people every

8:15night around the world that go to bed

8:17hungry and f a foo if you’re not

8:20familiar is f around and find out and

8:22it’s what people say when they’re saying

8:24well you you voted for this you deserve

8:25it if the American Farmer and Rancher is

8:28run out of business because of Trump’s

8:31policies and that’s what I want to

8:32explain to you tonight if you’ll listen

8:34to me I also wanted to let you know I

8:36sent you a private message and if you

8:38ever want to get on the phone and you

8:39want to talk about the issues that Trump

8:42is forwarding that are bad for

8:44agriculture I’d be willing to do that

8:46and I’d be willing to listen to your

8:47arguments as

8:49well I also want to let you know that

8:51I’ve been a political consultant for

8:53over 30 years I Want to Be Right upfront

8:55about that I do that in addition to

8:57farming and I want you to know a lot of

9:00younger people don’t know and I don’t

9:01mean that in a condescending way but

9:03more of an educational way a lot of

9:06younger people don’t know that rightwing

9:09talk radio and news the pundits the

9:12talking heads and right-wing talk radio

9:14Etc have been working for over 40 years

9:19to develop in rural

9:21people exactly the kinds of ideas that

9:24you have in your head that all

9:25politicians are Crooks that they’re all

9:27the same that you can’t Trad can’t trust

9:30traditional media that anything you hear

9:33that comes out of Washington DC or New

9:35York or the New York Times or CBS news

9:38that it’s all a lie and they did this on

9:41purpose and they started with Ronald

9:42Reagan we used to have what’s called a

9:44fairness Doctrine in this country where

9:46if you were a a radio station or a

9:49television station and you were using

9:51the public Airwaves to present a message

9:54we had a fairness Doctrine where you

9:55were required by law to share the other

9:57side of the story

10:00and President Ronald Reagan and I hope

10:01it’s okay I’m going to play more of this

10:03than I normally play of Clips all at

10:05once just because I

10:07think you’ve heard enough of my stupid

10:09voice

10:11okay Beasley that’s my last name Beasley

10:15you need to hear it from

10:16westerland who was president when I was

10:18in high school and a little bit younger

10:20than that had the fairness Doctrine

10:22eliminated he had it taken out of the

10:24books and there was a specific reason

10:26for that it was designed so that

10:28organizations like Fox News and

10:30right-wing talk radio could start

10:33spreading the lie that all mainstream

10:35media was bad now this was during the

10:38time of Walter kronite and Dan Rather

10:40all the other news heads that we had out

10:43there that were highly respected but it

10:45was a strategy to make it so that the

10:47airwaves no longer had to present an

10:49unbiased case and then these right-wing

10:51media sources like rush limau and Fox

10:54News Etc began pouring it on to Rural

10:57America you can’t trust politicians you

11:00can’t trust the news and what they did

11:03is they focused on destroying the trust

11:05in these institutions so that they could

11:08replace it with another institution and

11:10they did that they replaced it with Fox

11:12News they replaced it with right-wing

11:14talk radio and I can’t tell you how many

11:16times when I was growing up when I was

11:18your age I’d walk into a job site or be

11:21on a farm and I would hear right-wing

11:23talk radio blaring on the radio all day

11:26long and then after they had destroyed

11:28our faith in media institutions in Rural

11:31America they then turn their guns toward

11:33the government itself and they began

11:36building in us a distrust of government

11:38organizations and Skylar here’s the

11:40facts okay I’m you can look this up on

11:43your own but these are the facts Rural

11:45America uses more welfare than the blue

11:48cities

11:49do Rural America needs more help feeding

11:52our children we need more help keeping

11:54our hospitals

11:56open and guys like you and I Farmers out

11:58there that grow roow crops or do AGR

12:00forestry or raise

12:02cattle we take welfare

12:05too now I don’t think there’s anything

12:07wrong with that because we can’t control

12:09the cost of our inputs we can’t control

12:11the cost of what we sell our products

12:13for we got to pay for shipping both ways

12:16as Kennedy said but the reality of the

12:19situation is they were able to instill

12:21in us the idea that the government money

12:24coming to us was okay and was a good

12:26thing but the government money going

12:28every where else was a scam or a sham or

12:32communistic or socialistic

12:35Etc so it reached a fever pitch finally

12:38where a lot of rural people over 70% of

12:41rural farmers and ranchers only believe

12:44the fox newses and the talk

12:46radio and when they came to you and told

12:48you that Trump wasn’t going to implement

12:50project 2025 and that he didn’t have

12:53anything to do with it you believe that

12:55and you’re not

12:57alone all I’m here to tell you is that

12:59you were lied to I’m not asking you to

13:01admit you were wrong I’m not telling you

13:03you effed around and found out because I

13:05don’t want to see you lose your farm and

13:07if there’s anything I can do to help you

13:08not lose your farm I’d be happy to do

13:11it but in the distrust that you built up

13:14for government over time and due to the

13:17fact that you didn’t think mainstream

13:18media was reliable anymore and you began

13:21listening to the news sources that tried

13:23to convince you every day that project

13:262025 was not a trump deal even though

13:29many many people on his campaign worked

13:31for project 2025 they put it together

13:34they helped write it there was an entire

13:36section on

13:38agriculture and in that section on

13:40agriculture they specifically say

13:42they’re going to cut out programs like

13:44this then they’re going to cut out crop

13:47insurance and Donald Trump is on record

13:50my friend and Skylar look this up don’t

13:52take anything I’m telling you at face

13:54value you look it up that’s the

13:56difference between me and a lot of

13:57people on here check what I’ve said yes

14:00and I’ll stop it there because that’s

14:02the point that I want to segue off of

14:03which is so brilliant again credit to

14:06will West merland and this is the type

14:11of dialogue we need too

14:14because he’s not

14:16saying oh um maybe we can both maybe we

14:21can both pretend like we don’t have

14:23disagreements it’s not about we all link

14:26arms and we sing it’s acknowledg in that

14:30just like we do with systemic

14:35failures systemic failures

14:39economically and we look at how while of

14:42course the personal advice to someone is

14:44always going to be work hard right part

14:47individually just work hard pull

14:49yourself out by your

14:51bootstraps is not a comprehensive policy

14:54suggestion that would address the

14:57systemic problems it’s actually similar

15:00with systemic failures in media literacy

15:05which is that yes on an individual level

15:08I’m going to say y sometimes right to a

15:12to a Maga uh person I’ll I’ll condemn

15:16them I’ll debate with them sometimes be

15:19really upset with them identify where

15:21sometimes I think hate is motivating

15:22things but that doesn’t mean that we

15:24detach from understanding there is a

15:26systemic problem there and he explained

15:29a part of

15:31it and how there’s this long longer than

15:35the the uh First Farmer that you saw

15:39longer than he’s been alive an effort to

15:43create a bubble that people then are so

15:47trapped in from

15:50birth that

15:52while we while we don’t accept it we

15:58understand you get how that is going to

16:00make it really difficult to just

16:01completely detach and and understand

16:03where sort of the lies are coming from

16:05and it’s not to say there aren’t huge

16:06criticisms of mainstream Media or huge

16:10criticism and skepticism we need to have

16:11of the government it’s exactly what he

16:14said which is with

16:16me I don’t think I’m your only source of

16:20truth will doesn’t think he’s the only

16:23source of

16:24Truth and we should promote the idea

16:29that or we should promote the critical

16:32thinking skills necessary

16:34to verify if someone’s telling you the

16:37truth and then you do develop a level of

16:39trust with them but in that instead

16:45of an environment of everyone’s lying to

16:48you except for me which is often the

16:50right-wing message it’s definitely the

16:51Trump

16:53message if you’re not exactly in line

16:55with this message you must be a part of

16:57the the bad

17:00liberal fake

17:02news and once you can cultivate and it

17:05was decades long to do that that

17:08environment it makes it very difficult

17:10for people to correctly

17:13identify what the truth is there is a

17:16culty component to it it started before

17:19anyone knew Trump was going to really

17:22maximize it was really going to take

17:24advantage of

17:25it but then he really ended up showing

17:29us how dangerous it can

17:32be and so our job has to be not just to

17:36go ha you’re

17:39wrong or you voted for this even though

17:42it’s fine to say are you identifying you

17:44voted for this cuz hopefully you can

17:46identify that then we could understand

17:48what the takeaway should

17:50be and it’s not to say there aren’t huge

17:53systemic failures with the Democratic

17:54party but the unique Detachment from

17:58reality bubble component of the modern

18:01Maga

18:03movement was explained very well in part

18:06there by

18:08Will and it serves as as a daily

18:12reminder of why we all have to make sure

18:14we’re not getting

18:15into culty tribal

18:20thinking and hopefully through

18:23conversations like this by using a

18:25specific example over the next few years

18:27as people are going to in end up being

18:29hurt by Trump’s policies not just going

18:32but having them identify where the

18:35Pain’s coming from that’s important why

18:37it’s

18:37happening it’s not just the inflation

18:39reduction who signed the inflation

18:41reduction Che who’s not following

18:42through in that law getting that and

18:45then walking through how at least they

18:48could concede the sources of information

18:51they were going to before that told them

18:53this is the ultimate source of Truth it

18:55that that’s not the case maybe there’s

18:57still a journey to figure out where they

18:58can find Reliable information and how to

19:00verify it that’s a longer step but step

19:04one is just realizing they’ve been lied

19:08to and I think will westerland explained

19:12that nicely share your thoughts in the

19:15comments
