Riot Fest 2024 Day 1 photos: A wedding chapel, wrestling, Ferris Wheel and a butter statue

It was sunny skies as Riot Fest 2024 got underway on Friday once again at Douglass Park.

There was plenty of music to be had, but there was so much more — everything from skateboarding to wrestling to a punk rock museum exhibit to a wedding chapel awaiting couples wanting to tie the knot in between band sets.

And then there’s that life-size statue of actor-musician John Stamos — made out of butter.

The festival runs through Sunday at the park.

Here’s a look at some of the sights of opening day
