One of the most frequently asked questions former MOMOLAND member Daisy receives on TikTok is how female K-Pop idols handle their periods. So, she released a much-anticipated tell-all video about periods.
Yet, Daisy shared a shocking story no one was expecting.
Daisy explained that tampons are not as common in South Korea as, say, the United States. So, many girls and women are not familiar with its usage.
Tampons are not very commonly used in Korea. I know a lot of people are using them more now, but even back when I was a trainee, tampons were not used very often.

Consequently, when a fellow K-Pop trainee was on her period and decided to try a tampon, she went to Daisy for help. She literally asked Daisy to help her put the tampon in, which Daisy agreed to.
So, when I was a trainee, this girl was on her period and she needed to move, obviously, so she came up to me and asked me if I could put her tampon in for her, and to that, I was like, ‘Yes, I will put your tampon in for you.’

Yet, it proved a challenge for even Daisy. She did not successfully put it in.
So, we were just in the bathroom, face in c*och … and I tried to help her pop it in, but unfortunately, it did not work that day, sorry. It was like an anatomy lesson for me.
