Lost to the Moon by K. Loraine

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sound interesting? The author thinks so too! Listen to Lost to the Moon and experience the compelling world of The Mate Games: Pestilence.

Warning: The Mate Games: Pestilence is a spicy why-choose series that is sure to set your…heart…on fire. If you’re not a fan of grumpy dukes with a penchant for pain, purple demons with fancy body parts, nosy hackers with boundary issues, angsty wolf shifters who like to share, sword crossing, and plenty of group activities, this one’s not for you. But if it is…welcome back to The Mate Games, we’ve been waiting for you.

Lost to the Moon

This was the book I wanted the first three to be!

During the previous book, I found myself getting a bit bored of the series. I think maybe this series might have been one book too long. However, I did really enjoy this book. I think one reason was that all of Rosie’s men were at odds in the earlier books, especially with the demon Pan (short for Pandemic), who was constantly drawn to Rosie even though he was working for his mother, Pestilence who wanted to jump start the apocalypse. I like it in reverse harem romances when the female and all her males are a tight knit group, more of a family and they became that in this book. It ended up being them against the forces set to destroy everything.

I loved the fact that each of the men had their own distinct personalities and kinks. Not to mention the fact that they were various paranormal creatures (wolf shifters, vampires, and demons). I even liked Gavin and Pan, who were both a bit theatrical. There was a ton of steam, which I expected for a reverse harem, and a bunch of action as well, with some harrowing situations and unforeseen events.

This audiobook was told in multiple points of view via duet narration with a full cast of great narrators. J.F. Harding, Jacob Morgan, James Joseph, John Hartley, Stella Hunter, and Teddy Hamilton narrated it and a few of them bothered me in previous books, but I really appreciated every one of them in this installment. It may have helped that I waited a few days between the last book and this one, but I really enjoyed it.
