Peacock’s All Her Fault Cast Adds Dakota Fanning, Abby Elliot

All Her Fault, an upcoming thriller series at Peacock, has added Dakota Fanning and Abby Elliot to the cast. Per Deadline, Fanning will play Jenny, while Elliott will play Lia. Fanning and Elliot join a cast that includes Sarah Snook as Marissa Irvine, Jake Lacy as Peter, Sophia Lillis as Carrie, and Michael Peña as Detective McConville.

Fanning is coming off starring roles in The Watchers, the directorial debut of Ishana Night Shyamalan, and Ripley, Netflix’s adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s 1955 crime novel The Talented Mr. Ripley. Fanning received an Emmy nomination for her work in Ripley. She will next appear in The Perfect Couple, a Netflix murder mystery coming in September.

Elliot is best known for her work as Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto on FX’s The Bear and as a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008-2012. Elliot’s credits include Indebted, Odd Mom Out, Search Party, Better Off Single, and Cheaper by the Dozen.

What to Expect in All Her Fault?

“Set in Chicago, Marissa Irvine (Snook) arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school,” the official logline reads. “But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.”

Megan Gallagher (Wolf, Suspicion) serves as writer, creator, and executive producer on All Her Fault. The series is adapted from Andrea Mara’s best-selling novel of the same name. Executive producers include Gareth Neame, Nigel Marchant, Joanna Strevens, Jennifer Gabler Rawlings, and Christine Sacani. Executive producer Minkie Spiro will direct the first episode.

All Her Fault will begin shooting in Australia very soon.
