miaw, a duo consisting of Frederik Fog from Denmark and Liza Dries from the Netherlands, is readying the release of its debut EP. The upcoming project, titled My Petswan, will be distributed through Petrola80, the label run by Copenhagen duo Lyra Valenza. This release follows the dreamwave duo’s glimmering debut single “Strong.”
Alongside the EP announcement, miaw shared a new single. “hello hello” showcases their innovative approach to music production. The track combines electronic music, chops of drum’n’bass rhythms, and an ethereal call and response hook. Despite its title, the aerial song ironically explores themes of farewell. It addresses past friendships and complicated romantic relationships within an urban setting. Float away below.
