Marvel fans are gearing up for the next Spider-Man film, tentatively titled Spider-Man: Homecoming, but there is very little information about the production. Although the script will be constantly under revision in order to deliver the best scenes possible, the production has confirmed a specific script for the new movie, it will be edited if necessary as the production moves forward. There are many details that have not yet been revealed, one of which is the official title of the film, as well as its plotlines. Spider-Man has made a cameo appearance in a recent Marvel film; however, the name of the film will not be stated here because it may spoil one of the Marvel movies that millions of fans are now streaming on Disney+. It remains true that Spider-Man is one of Marvel’s most popular characters and the film studio tries its best to deliver strong films within the franchise, as well as merchandise like action figures, video games and other products that are popular with Spider-Man fans.
In the newly released pic, Tom Holland is wearing his Spider-Man suit and has another person sitting on his shoulders. The person is not a character in the movie as some have speculated. He is Holland’s younger brother Harry who had a great time seeing his brother in action that day. Holland called it one of the “best days of his career” to be able to share the filmmaking experience with his family.
“Today was easily one of the highlights of my career. For those of you that were there, you know what I’m talking about and for those of you that weren’t, you better buckle up (sic),” posted Holland on social media, showing off the new picture for the first time.
There are a few facts about the film that have been made public for the fans. It is interesting that Sony will be producing the film, even though Marvel is owned by Disney. This seems to be a good move by Disney, just because they own the rights to the franchise does not mean they cannot collaborate with other studios to make films better. Over the years, Disney has taken the lead in the production of many of its franchises, it is good news that they are not trying to put a Disney spin on a Marvel film, many fans would agree that would be a good move. It is also made public that the film is set to release in theaters on December 17 and they are currently shooting some action scenes in Atlanta right now. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there have been many films that have been delayed or shown on video streaming services in 2021. Hopefully, this will not be the case for the upcoming Spider-Man film, as it could be one of the first blockbuster hits at the box office as theaters will presumably re-open in enough time to debut the film. If for some reason the movie cannot be released, it can always be launched and streamed on Disney+, but it is safe to say that both Disney and Sony want this movie to release in theaters instead of streaming.
