Squid Game, one of the most popular shows on streaming television, has been approved for a highly-anticipated second season.
The show’s plot focuses on contestants who are willing to put their lives on the line in order to win prizes.
Netflix has confirmed that season two will bring back the current characters as well as new ones with unique storylines.
According to CNN, Squid Game is the most-watched Netflix series in the company’s history, the first ever Korean series to reach No. 1 in the U.S. and has streamed over 1.65 billion hours of viewing in less than 30 days of its release.
