2K Games has confirmed that NBA 2K23, like its predecessors, will not be able to access some of the game’s latest features. 2K Games has been taking the old console version of the beloved basketball series 2K NBA and making it available to PC players in its latest release.
The current version of the game adds some technical enhancements that PC players will no longer experience. Those who play the game on the console version have the latest and greatest version of the game.
Here’s what the company has to say about the issue:
For now, our goal is to ensure 2K23 is optimized for the new PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. While ensuring that the gaming experience remains fresh and innovative for players on other platforms.
This may cause resentment among those who choose to play 2K23 on PC, as this is history repeating itself. 2K Games made a very similar announcement for 2K22 last year. As before, they don’t seem to have made much of an improvement in this situation. Players feel that there should be an up-to-date version of the game.
Exciting news for players
Michael Jordan was the cover athlete for the 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition and NBA 2K23 Champions Edition. 2K Games also announced that three-time NBA All-Star Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker will be featured on the cover of both the Standard and Cross-Generation Digital Deluxe Editions of 2K23, which fans feel are well-deserved.
Now we can pre-order NBA 2K23 so we can also get some extra bonuses. This allows us to get some unique items and NBA 2K23 MT at the start of the game.
There are still 2 months until the release of 2K23, and now we should pay more attention to the dynamics of this game to prevent changes.
