This is why we need gun control good guys with guns get killed also. Four students have been killed in the past who went to this school. So far one person is dead at this school. This will continue to happen with no gun control. This seems to be a black school so because it is a magnet school. This is a school that is used to violence. So this will have no change in policy at all. This is more of the same while keeping black kids in school to prison pipeline. Just feeding the system like cattle for money. We really need relief in the black community this pain is unbearable, black children are used to being ignored and we still rise from concrete like flowers there are two songs that come to mind, “Who we be”, DMX, and “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye. This is violence that goes on in our community and people are not doing anything it just keeps happening to black people. So who cares. It happens to white kids who cares, we still could not get gun reform after the white kids were killed. The self-hatred that black children feel is real. If you can kill another you hate your life period. The police shot and killed the student and the student fired at them they seem to be in the right. This was probably suicide by police. Mental health is real in the black community. Black people need to get help. This school district like so many others in the black community is filled with kids killing kids. They don’t know they have a future. That is why death is better than life, We live in a country that doesn’t give care about us. We are used to this in our country. If Obama did not get change 8 years ago nothing will change this.
Marvin Gaye and DMX were two tortured souls looking for love and they both found drugs. It clear that most talented people who are creative and live with a mental health problem. We need to stop thinking in the black community that mental is a flaw it is a disease that needs to be treated with therapy and drugs. This is a real problem in our community. If Obama’s speech could not get change it not going to happen.
