Melbourn’s Time to Waste

An Art Call

Environmental pollution is a worldwide issue and it has an adverse impact on health and human populations. Universal environmental pollution, including greenhouse gas emissions and acid deposition, as well as water pollution and waste management is now a global public health problem, which should be seen as perspectives such as social, economic, and environmental engineering systems. It is very important in such lifestyle habits to help health promotion and reinforce environmental systems. Problems of environmental pollution are intense in the developing world, with traditional sources of pollution such as industrial emissions, poor sanitation, insufficient waste, polluted water supplies, air pollution from biomass fuels etc…  Environmental degradation is a wide- world problem and it influences the health of the human population. The environment so deteriorates and the recent activities in the field of socio-economic, institute, and technology play a major role. The interactions between human beings and the environment have often been bad. The degradation and depletion of natural resources, climate change have become major concerns for modern society.  An extremely important function of the ecosystem is to provide healthy and sustainable environments for natural systems and communities all over the world. Ecological planning is a functional requirement for the establishment needs sustainability. There is a need for the supply of natural resources, used in the most effective and sustainable manner, and the maintenance of ecological balance. There are various steps which should be taken for reducing environmental degradation. One of the ways is the awareness of the problem. The awareness of such can be reached with art and artists. It is necessary to raise awareness of environmental degradation and its contributing factors, such as climate change with art ad artistic creativity.

There is no time left to wait or to waste, on such a matter. Scientists are now calling the climate change problem a climate change emergency because our planet is warming faster than predicted. Which means ignoring is no longer an option. We do not need more climate predictions to see that our planet is already on fire therefore artists from all around the world are invited to react.
