Madonna, the best-selling pop star superstar icon of the 80s and today celebrated her 63rd birthday on August 16. Her record label, Warner Music Group will relaunch her entire catalog—the same company and studio that launched her debut single and career four decades ago.

She’s the latest artist to sign a deal with the world’s third-largest record label home to other artists like French DJ David Guetta, Cardi B, Bruno Mars, and Ed Sheeran.

The Vogue, Material Girl and Holiday singer has sold more than 300 million records and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.

According to reports in WHBL.com, the relaunch of her entire catalog on Warner Music Group will mark the singer’s 40th anniversary with the artist’s recording debut. Madonna comments in the article—”They have been amazing partners, and I am delighted to be embarking on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalog from the last 40 years.”

WMG said, “This partnership marks the revitalization of a decades-long relationship with Warner that began with the release of Madonna’s debut single in 1982, and 2022 will mark the 40th anniversary of the artist’s recording debut.”

Madonna has been acting in films, Evita, A League of Their Own, and directed and wrote the 2011 film, W/.E. about the British royal abdication scandal in the 1930s. Her upcoming documentary film, Madame X will debut on October 8.
