Ladies and Gentlemen and all Nicolas Cage fans…we finally have an official launch date in theaters for Nicolas Cage’s new long-awaited action-comedy satire meta-film, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.’ Set your calendars forward to April 22, 2022!
According to Hollywood Reporter Lionsgate has announced that the film will be released next spring on April 22, 2022. Save the date! Are we ready to party and finally celebrate cinema’s comeback after the pandemic or what?
The film starring Nicolas Cage as a fictional version of himself faced with financial ruin the mega-movie star and Pedro Pascal who plays the dangerous superfan meet when he invites Cage to his birthday party and the plot takes a wild unexpected turn when Cage is recruited by the CIA to save his family and himself from massive danger; Cage is forced to accept $1 million dollars to attend the superfan Pedro Pascal’s character’s birthday party and live up to his own legend channeling his most iconic and beloved screen characters.

The film is directed by Tom Gormican and the screenplay is by Kevin Etten.
Besides Pedro Pascal, Sharon Horgan, Alessandra Mastronardi, Jacob Scipio, Lily Sheen also star in the movie, alongside Neil Patrick Harris and Tiffany Haddish.
