The announcement comes after a rumored Hot Boys reunion failed to come together at Essence Fest in July, when Lil Wayne opted to perform a solo set instead of joining Juvenile and B.G. onstage during their performance with Birdman and Mannie Fresh.

During the lead-up to Essence Fest, Juvenile fueled anticipation by teasing a Hot Boys reunion album, but Wayne said he knew nothing about the project.

Formed in 1997 under Birdman’s Cash Money Records, the Hot Boys released three albums together, the most successful of which was 1999’s Guerrilla Warfare. They haven’t put out a project since 2003’s Let ‘Em Burn, which came out after Juvenile, B.G., and Turk departed the label due to financial issues.

Previously, obstacles like Turk and B.G.’s incarcerations stood in the way of an official reunion. Come November, it will finally come to fruition.
