In a new image released Friday, King Charles III is seen with his son, Prince William, and grandson, Prince George.
The photograph was captured by Hugo Burnand in Buckingham Palace’s throne room on the day of Charles’ coronation.
Charles is wearing The Robe of Estate and The Imperial State Crown; he is holding the Sovereign’s Orb and Sovereign’s Sceptre with Cross. He is sitting on a 1902 throne chair made for the future King George V and Queen Mary for the Coronation of King Edward VII.
In a second photograph, Charles poses with Queen Camilla and their eight Pages of Honour and Ladies in Attendance. He wears The Imperial State Crown and Robe of Estate, as Camilla wears Queen Mary’s Crown and Robe of Estate.
The photos were released a week after Charles’ widely-covered coronation.
