Kid Cudi Turns Love Of Funnel Cakes Into Bisquick Partnership

Kid Cudi has some spare time as he continues to heal from his tour-canceling foot injury, so he’s teamed up with Bisquick for a limited-edition collectible box of funnel cake mix.

Simply dubbed “Cudi’s Funnel Cake Mix,” the packaging includes cartoon-style illustrations of the rapper and his dog, Nino, which will also be featured on custom merch that includes tees, aprons and plates. And it’s all designed by Cudder himself.

The food and merch will be available Friday (August 23) at 9 a.m. PT on Cudi’s website.

“DIS AINT NO PANCAKE BABYYY!” the Man on the Moon rapper joked with his Instagram announcement.

Despite the aforementioned injury, Kid Cudi is making a swift recovery from the broken foot he suffered at Coachella earlier this year.

In April, Cudi’s set at the California festival ended early after he decided to jump off the stage — presumably to mingle with fans — but botched his landing.

His foot injury resulted in multiple surgeries, as well as a canceled tour.

In an update on social media late last month, the Cleveland native revealed he’s already walking at a semi-regular pace and the boot he was in has come off.

“This is F@$!%KIN crazy. I didnt think this would happen so soon,” he said alongside a video of his progress. “Damn near walkin regular, not much pain, smooth fluid motion. The Return of the Chosen…”

In other news, Kid Cudi is planning on expanding the world of his Moon Man comics even further with a podcast.

The rapper and actor announced in July that he was planning to launch The Moon Man Chronicles, a podcast that will “review of each issue of Moon Man and songs from the soundtrack.”

The Moon Man comic series was launched in January of this year. As Cudi noted in his message, he has been releasing songs to go along with issues of the comic. Earlier this month, he dropped “Dreams I See” to accompany the latest issue.
