Kat and The Band, (NR TV-14) is a new fun and entertaining romantic comedy directed by E.E. Hegarty and written by Jemma Field and Michael Mueller (The Beat Beneath My Feet) about a savvy and clever teenage music-aficionado named Kat Mallone, (Ella Hunt, Anna, and the Apocalypse) who runs a side-hustle as a manager trying to revive a struggling band called, Dollar Days led by Alex (Dougie Poynter, McFly,) while trying to balance everyday life with friendship, school, and family. The film also features Callum McGowan (Jamestown), Idris Debrand (MotherFatherSon), and Katherine Kelly (Mr. Selfridge).

The 90-minute film is distributed by Trinity Film Executive Partnership and the producers are Rebecca Long, and Stella Nwimo. The production company is Boudica Indigo, Ltd. It is scheduled to be released on August 11 on VOD and all digital platforms on iTunes, Amazon Prime, Google Play, DirectTV, Fandango NOW, Moviespree and Vudu.
