Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Reportedly Cancel Concert In Taiwan

[ad_1]

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign announced a ‘Vultures Listening Experience’ event in Taiwan late last month, but now it appears not to be happening.

Reports of the event, scheduled for Sunday (August 25), being canceled have appeared in the Taiwan Newsand Mirror Media, and have also been featured on the Ye fan account Ye Fanatics.

Mirror Media says: “[I]t was reported that the organizer informed the manufacturers that ‘the event is cancelled,’ but no official cancellation announcement has been made yet.”

As of this writing, the ticketing webpage for Sunday’s event, billed as a “listening and fashion party” and “not a ‘regular concert’,” does not list any cancelation. The most recent event update on the page is from August 10, and has to do with stage design and VIP seating.

Ty Dolla $ign’s Instagram page does not have any updates either.

Another ‘Vultures Listening Experience’ event, scheduled to take place in Korea on Friday (August 23), does appear to be proceeding as scheduled.

Meanwhile, another aspect of the ‘Vultures’ experience, namely West and Ty’s new album Vultures 2, is also ever-changing.

Last week, Kanye West added a new verse to album cut “Forever,” as they continue updating the project.

West has been tinkering with the project, which, as of Friday (August 16), now includes an added verse. While the first part of the verse is taken from the original version, the updated track features West adding onto the song and exploring the concept of our time on Earth.

On the new version, Yeezy raps: “Just to cope, just a possible word of hope, like/ Maybe, possibly, if, time didn’t exist/ Four billion years in this bitch/ These lifetimes, blips.”

The updated Vultures 2 came with plenty of surprises.

On Friday, (August 16), Ye and Ty added an extra four songs to their second collaborative project that feature some high-profile guests. Kid Cudi pops up on the previously heard “Gun to My Head” and Travis Scott guests on “Can U Be;” while “Drunk” features both Kodak Black and Latin superstar Peso Pluma.

Each of the songs are on separate digital deluxe versions of the album.
