Justin Baldoni Shares Message To Domestic Abuse Survivors

His message comes amid swirling rumors of a feud with Lively. Fans have noticed that not only was Baldoni MIA from press events and photos with the cast, but he and Lively also seem to have different takes on the film’s heavy subject matter.

In fact, Justin Baldoni has been actively spotlighting domestic violence in the conversation about his film and remains open to all viewers’ perspectives on how the topic is handled.

“Dear Survivor,” Baldoni began. “You embody resilience and courage, qualities that shine bright even on the darkest days. In the tapestry of your life, each thread tells a story of endurance, strength, and hope.”

The actor, who plays abuser Ryle in the film, added, “Every step forward you take, no matter how small, is a declaration of your unyielding spirit and an inspiration to others. You may not always see the impact you have, but your journey encourages and motivates, lighting the path for those of us still searching for the light.”

He then acknowledged that “while I can never fully understand your pain and all you have endured, I want you to know that you are never alone in this fight.”

“We are with you,” he said. “You are not just surviving; you are thriving, and in your thriving, you inspire us all. May your journey forward be filled with moments of profound peace. And may you remember that as you fight for joy…you are liberating us all.”

“Sending you gratitude, strength, and love,” he concluded.

His message comes amid the rumors that he and his co-star, Lively, do not get along. It also comes after Lively was criticized for saying that her character, Lily, is “not defined” by her experiences with domestic violence.

“She defines herself, and I think that that’s deeply empowering to remind people that no one else can define you,” Lively said of her “It Ends With Us” character. “No experience can define you. You define you.”

Lively also posted a message on her social media after the movie premiered. “‘It Ends With Us’ is a story of the female experience,” she said. “All the highest highs, and lowest lows. And we are so proud of it. We have been in celebration of this film and of getting a message so important out there to the masses. Thank you all for embracing ‘It Ends With Us’ with the same love, pain, and joy we had sharing it with you all.”

Sources close to the production previously claimed that Baldoni, who directed and starred in the romantic drama film, is currently the crew’s favorite, describing him as a great guy to work with who truly cared about everyone on set.

However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Another insider claims the feud between Baldoni and Lively is like a full-blown war, with some crew members siding with the “Gossip Girl” actress and others with Baldoni.
