Joe Budden Tears Into Lil Pump: ‘Why Is He Still A Thing?’

Joe Budden has unloaded on Lil Pump over the rapper’s support of former president Donald Trump.

In a clip from the Joe Budden Podcast that emerged on Thursday (August 15), the rapper-turned-media-personality took direct aim at the “Gucci Gang” hitmaker and his continued adoration of Trump, questioning how Pump still manages to find his way into the news.

Budden said: “I still don’t know why he’s a thing. Why is he a thing? Like, the internet be making people things, and then it be 10, 15 years and I still don’t know why people … I don’t know the song, the movie. I just think of a shit stain. A white shit stain. I’ve never seen him not look shit stain-ish.”

The rant comes just days after Lil Pump revealed that he’ll be releasing a new song in support of Donald Trump.

Posting on X (formerly Twitter), the controversial rapper announced his decision to scrap a planned diss song aimed at Kamala Harris and instead focus his efforts on supporting Trump.

“[N]ot dropping a diss song[.] I know some ppl wanted it but it would hurt what we are fighting for which is to get President Trump in office. Can’t stoop down to the liberals level,” he wrote.

“IM DROPPING A PRO TRUMP SONG WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE TRUMP TEAM!! YES THIS IS BIG!! MAGA [American flag emoji].”

This isn’t the first time that the two firebrand Hip Hop personalities have clashed.

Back in January, Pump called out Budden for “harassing women” and said he was ready to “crash out” on the former Slaughterhouse MC.

“I don’t respect a guy who fucking hits women. Fuck Joe Budden ’cause you literally harass women,” he said on Instagram Live. “Why the fuck is you harassing women, hoe-ass n-gga?! Your ass should burn in hell, cuz. I’m ready to crash out about this shit.

“Don’t hit women, don’t harass women. What the fuck is wrong with you? Go hit a guy. Come at me, n-gga. Let’s go. Let’s crash out together. What you wanna do?”

Lil Pump Vows To Leave U.S. If ‘Stupid’ Kamala Harris Becomes President

Pump then mocked Budden over his 2003 breakout hit “Pump It Up” before threatening to “slap the fuck” out of him.

“Your only song was ‘Pump It Up,’” he said. “Lil’ weird-ass jit. I’ll slap the fuck out of you and your bald-ass head. Fuck wrong with you, jit?”

“And guess what? I’m flying to New York next week, n-gga. We can crash out,” he added, indicating he’s serious about his threat.
