Network television has seen many great crime series dramas. Some excellent ones are appearing on streaming services as well.
Jessica Biel will play an infamous true crime killer in Hulu’s Candy, the official trailer also has been released.
Her character is Candy Montgomery, a housewife living in Texas who was convicted in a 1980 axe murder of her neighbor Betty Gore, played by Melanie Lynskey.
Candy also stars Timothy Simmons as Candy’s husband Pat Montgomery and Pablo Schreiber will play Betty’s husband Alan Gore.
The show is set to premiere on May 9. Hulu’s five-part event will display a new episode each week night with the finale airing May 13.
