Indiana Jones TV Series to Stream on Disney+

According to Variety, a new Indiana Jones TV show is set to premiere on Disney+.

The project has been under development for quite some time. The production is currently looking for a new writer to bring to the team. At this point it is unclear if the show will be a prequel or a spinoff.

Casting will continue to be an ongoing discussion, as Harrison Ford has declared that the upcoming, fifth installment of the film would be his last playing the title character, Disney has been looking for a new Indiana Jones who can appear in either a television series, feature film or both.

An Indiana Jones television series appeared on ABC from 1992-1993 entitled The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. Another TV special appeared on The Family Channel from 1994 to 1996.

Harrison Ford appeared in the following feature films: Raiders of the Lost Art, Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The films have grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide.
