How Much Is a Bugatti? Here’s a Price Breakdown

At the time of its release, the 1,479-horsepower Chiron was the fastest production car on the planet. As the successor to the Veyron, the Chiron had to be better in every way. Powered by a quad-turbo 8.0-liter 16-cylinder engine and electronically limited to 261 mph, the Chiron provides another level of the white-knuckle-grip experience. Superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was among the first to buy a Chiron to add to his enviable collection. When he is not driving the Chiron on a picturesque European road, he enjoys sunbathing next to it. What a life.

Bugatti Chiron Sport | Price: $3,200,000 (est)

When a standard Chiron will not do, one must upgrade to the Sport. Still powered by the same 8.0-liter W-16, the Bugatti Chiron Sport made its debut at the Geneva auto show in 2018. The more performance-oriented Chiron has a firmer chassis, carbon-fiber design elements, and a dynamic torque-vectoring system. Additional lightweight materials, including the wheels and the rear window, helped the Chiron Sport shed 40 pounds. The result: improved handling and faster lap times.

Bugatti Chiron Noire Editions | Price: $3,300,000 (est)

Upping the ante once again, Bugatti introduced two blacked-out versions of the Chiron to celebrate the production of its 250th model, the Edition Noire Sportive and Noire Élégance. The Sportive comes in exposed carbon fiber with a matte black finish, whereas the Élégance has an exposed carbon fiber exterior. The Noire adds a redesigned mesh grille, a Bugatti badge made of solid silver and black enamel, an all-black interior, and a Noire script on the lower body near the signature C-shaped character line. Both editions get Caractère wheels with black-painted calipers. Only 20 of these menacing blacked-out Chirons belong to the fortunate few.

Bugatti Chiron Sport Les Légendes Du Ciel | Price: $3,400,000 (est)

As a tribute to French aviation in the early 20th century and its connection to Bugatti motorcars, Bugatti produced a sky-themed derivative of the Chiron Sport. The stunning Les Légendes du Ciel is painted in matte gray to mirror the metallic exterior color of the planes used by France’s pioneering daredevil pilots. Styling highlights include a gloss white stripe across the middle, a Sky View roof, the French flag tricolor on the carbon-fiber side sills, and unique aeronautical design elements in the interior. And in true Bugatti fashion, this knockout is limited to just 20 copies.

Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport | Price: $3,600,000 (est)

Some call this sexy beast the 911 GT2 RS of Bugattis, and deservingly so. The Chiron Pur Sport has a more aggressive front fascia and features a fixed rear wing, a retuned suspension, Bugatti-specific Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires, and a revised gearbox. The Pur Sport again features the 1,479-hp quad-turbo 16-cylinder engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. This Chiron weighs 110 pounds less than a regular model and delivers higher revs. Oh, and only 60 were built.

Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ | Price: $4,000,000 (est)

Designed for maximum velocity, the Super Sport 300+ was born from the record-breaking modified Chiron that hit a face-melting 304.773 mph in the summer of 2019. This aerodynamically optimized Chiron achieves the perfect balance between drag and downforce thanks to extensively modified bodywork, improving performance and stability. The quad-turbo 8.0-liter W-16 makes a mind-boggling 1,578 hp, a considerable increase from the standard 1,479 horses. The black and orange Super Sport 300+ is electronically limited to 273.4 mph. Only 30 of these fighter-jet-inspired Chirons were made, and they sold out immediately, of course.

Bugatti Chiron Sport 110 ans Bugatti | Price: $4,500,000 (est)

On its 110th anniversary, Bugatti released a Chiron Sport decorated in the blue, white, and red French flag to celebrate the company’s heritage. Among the upgrades: exhaust, carbon-fiber bodywork, revised steering, and a dark matte coat of Steel Blue paint. Further highlighting the exterior, the French flag covers the entire underside of the rear wing. The highly crafted interior has blue leather upholstery finished with Alcantara and the tricolor stripe embroidered into the seats. Just 20 examples of this exclusive matte-painted Chiron honoring Bugatti’s 110-year history were available. Congratulations to those who claimed them.

Bugatti Divo | Price: $5,700,000 (est)

If extreme styling and aerodynamics are your jam, then the Chiron-based Bugatti Divo is just for you. This one-of-a-kind hypercar, designed to attack the track, weighs 77 pounds less than the entry Chiron and has a top speed of 236 mph. The Divo relies on the same 1,479-hp quad-turbo 8.0-liter W-16 in other Chirons and is sure to cause a scene. Regular appearances will be rare, though, as Bugatti only offered 40 of these beauties.

Bugatti Centodieci | Price: $9,000,000 (est)

You can think of this sculptural masterpiece, of which Bugatti only made 10, as a reincarnation of the iconic EB110. Inspired by the 1990s wedge-shaped supercar, the Bugatti Centodieci promises earth-shattering performance thanks to a whopping 1,578 horsepower. According to Bugatti, the Centodieci can hustle from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds. Graceful yet hostile, this Bugatti is both extraordinary and strictly limited, which warrants its multimillion-dollar price tag.

Bugatti La Voiture Noire | Price: $12,500,000 (est)

For the ultimate in exclusivity, there is the singular Bugatti La Voiture Noire, which was unveiled in 2019. It remains a mystery who handed over the money bags for the most expensive new car in the world. Rumors identified Cristiano Ronaldo as the buyer, but that was never confirmed. This Bugatti one-off pays homage to the classic Type 57SC and is unmistakably distinguishable from the Chiron. And don’t call it a hypercar—the highly sophisticated La Voiture Noire is a grand tourer.
