Hellbound Season 2 has a release date.
The first season of Hellbound was released on Netflix in November 2021. The South Korean horror fantasy series was directed by Train to Busan’s Yeon Sang-ho and based on Yeon’s webtoon of the same name. A second season was confirmed to be in development in September 2022.
Netflix has now shared a teaser trailer for Hellbound Season 2 that announces a return date for the popular series.

When is Hellbound Season 2’s release date?
Hellbound Season 2 will be available to stream on Netflix on October 25, 2024. It will first premiere at the 29th Busan International Film Festival earlier in the month.
“Jung Jinsu, founder of the religious cult the New Truth, is back after being condemned to hell for several years,” a description of Hellbound Season 2, via Netflix’s Tudum, reads. “Upon his return, he realizes the dicta of the New Truth and its more extreme sect, the Arrowhead, now rule society. But when Jinsu finds out he’s not the only one who’s come back to the land of the living, he seeks to understand what being resurrected has done to — and for — him. Is resurrection really damnation, as the New Truth preaches, or could it be the path to true salvation?”
The cast of Hellbound Season 2 includes Kim Sung-cheol as Jung Jinsu, Kim Hyun-joo as Min Hyejin, Kim Shin-rock as Park Jungja, Moon So-ri as Senior Secretary Lee, Lee Dong-hee as Kim Jeongchil, Cho Dong-in as Pinwheel, Moon Geun-young as Ms. Sunshine, Im Sung-jae as Cheon Sehyeong, Yang Ik-june as Jin Kyunghun, Lee Re as Jin Heejung, and Hong Eui-joon as Kim Sungjip.
The first season of Hellbound is currently streaming on Netflix.
