HBO’s ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ Filming in Westchester

Filming began in Pleasantville for the day and may continue in other towns in Westchester

HBO is filming the series, "The Time Traveler's Wife" which was also a 2009 film starring Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana as Clare and Henry.

My home county Westchester, New York is becoming a ‘mini Hollywood’ and is gaining recognition as a filming location. It’s good business for the community.

News 12 reports that on Wednesday, traffic in Pleasantville came to a halt as film crews were busy at work filming the new HBO series for the day entitled, The Time Traveler’s Wife which is also a 2009 film starring Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana as Clare and Henry and is based on a book written by Audrey Niffenegger about a married couple whose relationship is complicated because the husband has the power to transport himself through time. One minute he’s in the kitchen making breakfast the next minute he’s 20 years into the future.

Crews were out and about filming on Wheeler Avenue in Pleasantville and the Philips 66 gas station on Broadway.

Rose Leslie of Game of Thrones  and Theo James of Divergent star as the couple in the new series.

There is no word yet as to when the six-episode series will air on HBO.
