Live-action Halo TV Show Releases New Trailers

Paramount Plus released two new trailers for the upcoming live-action Halo TV show. It will make its debut March 24th, 2022.

The first trailer is an abridged version which aired during the AFC championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals. It is a one-minute teaser.

The second trailer was made public on the internet. It shows more of the live-action and hints at possible storylines throughout the series. This is the official trailer for the show.

Pablo Shreiber is playing Master Chief, Jen Taylor is Cortana (the character she voiced since the release of the video game the show is based on) and Natasha McElhone will be Dr. Catherine Halsey.

The live-action Halo was originally announced in 2018 and was set to be a series on Showtime. It is now an exclusive on the Paramount Plus streaming service. It was supposed to make its debut last year but had to be delayed due to the global pandemic.

Only  a few TV series have been adaptations from video games. However, Paramount is joining other TV and film production companies planning to bring gaming characters to streaming services and the big screen. The Halo game is one of the most popular on Xbox and many fans are excited about how the TV show will reflect what takes place in the games.

The other highly-anticipated adaptation is a feature film starring Super Mario, which is set to make its debut in the winter of 2022.
