I am finding out about new competitions for artists all the time. I really like that. Here it is, an artwork made from glass..hmm, it brings me back to my dream last night. I had a dream of breaking a huge glass made elephant. And I cried my heart out in sleep for that, which is good! My first memory from childhood, first tourist trip was a glass factory in Venice, Italy. Glass is an amazing material but if you are not careful enough can get pretty kitchy. The techniques and processes an artist uses to make contemporary art glass are often neglected artwork.
